John is recognised as a property industry leader. He has previously served as the National President of the Property Council of Australia, Chairman of the Australian Sustainable Built Environment Council and Chairman Co-operative Research Centre for Construction Innovation. 

John currently holds various corporate board positions including Chairman of the Sustainable Built Environment National Research Centre and formerly Adjunct Professor at QUT School of Urban Development Faculty of the Built Environment and Engineering. 

Lyn Flannery

Lyn is the owner and CEO of Lyn Flannery & Associates Pty. Ltd & Owner Managing Director Giraffe Advertising Pty Ltd. Lyn is a Certified Marketing Manager (PCA), an Associate Fellow of Australian Marketing Institute and Certified Practicing Marketer (AFAM CPM) and has a Masters in Marketing (CSU).
 

Lyn’s commenced her own business ventures in 2003 after some 24 years in the Shopping Centre Management & Marketing Sector in which she held Senior positions including Centre, State & National Marketing roles. Prior to commencing her own business Lyn was as Head of Marketing QIC.

Lyn’s commitment to Marketing since commencing her own business 10 years ago has resulted in her successfully operating her consultancy, creative and education services to a national and international audience. Lyn’s expertise in Marketing continues to be shared with many Industry Marketers through her on-going Marketing training courses. 

Mark Greer

Mark has a distinguished  retail property career spanning over 30 years. He is a Retail Specialist in the areas of Retail Advisory, Acquisitions, Planning, Design, Funding, Sales, Leasing and Management.

Mark has initiated and consulted on numerous Landmark CBD Retail Projects , Mixed Use / Life Style precincts,Transport Hubs Rail / Airports, Shopping and Bulky Goods Centres,Public Precincts, Locally, Nationally and Internationally. 

Mark has held senior management roles with leading International property companies ,establishing and running various teams, businesses and projects.
 

Tony Houston

Bev Strickland

Bev Strickland is one of Australia’s most respected marketers, with a 25-year track record of delivering results in the business, retail and property sectors.

 

She is the founder and owner of boutique marketing consultancy, Strictlymarketing, which has recently won a number of major contracts to service three of south-eastern Queensland’s biggest current retail property developments.

 

Her ability to use strategic marketing to generate bottom line results has made her a highly sought-after consultant to clients across Australia. Bev has gained a reputation as a ‘trouble-shooter’ by developing and implementing marketing strategies, which have helped, revitalise previously troubled business ventures including the retail component of Brisbane’s South Bank, Melbourne’s Southgate Arts and Leisure precinct and Robina Town Shopping Centre on the Gold Coast. In each instance, her involvement has resulted in positive turn-around in turnover, customer/visitor traffic, and government and community support.

 

Prior to launching Strictlymarketing, Bev Strickland was National Director, Marketing, for Byvan (one of Australia’s largest property services firms), with responsibility for a $27 million per annum marketing budget and more than 90 marketing staff in 200 shopping centres across the nation. 

 

Bev has previously held positions on the Board of the South Bank Business Association and the Australian Marketing Institute (Queensland Division). Bev has also recently been reappointed for the 8th consecutive year to the Property Councils Retail Management committee and is also an active Management Committee member for Vinnie’s Retail Stores across Queensland.
